The Spotlight

 is on Brian Falkner

"Brian Falkner was absolutely awesome. His 'StorySports' session was a huge hit .... I would definitely book Brian again and can recommend him to other schools."  - St. Joseph's Nudgee College - August, 2016

Brian is an award-winning international author and writing coach. He is a highly sought-after speaker in schools around Australia, the US and New Zealand. His infectious enthusiasm, humour and energy make every appearance a popular and memorable one. He is the author of more than thirteen novels for children and young adults, published in fifteen countries in seven languages. His most recent YA novel, Battlesaurus: Rampage at Waterloo has been shortlisted for the 2016 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards.

Brian is excited to present a school holiday camp for young writers, called “
Write like an Author”. It is an internationally acclaimed writing course that teaches young writers the skills and techniques that professional authors use to create their stories. During the camp, each participant will develop and write an original creative story under Brian's guidance. For information about camp requirements and costs, click here.

The camp will be held at Nudgee College during the school holidays, starting on Wednesday, 11st January 2017 and running until Saturday, 14th January 2017.
