CBCA 2017 Book Week

Voices on the Move

		Cameron Stelzer Cameron Stelzer's visit to our school exceeded expectations. He inspired many of the students with his talents in writing and illustrating. 		Krista Bell Krista Bell is an award-winning Melbourne based author and an established ABC Radio children’s book reviewer. Krista's 27 popular titles for children include her picture book Peeking Ducks with illustrations by Sally Rippen.

The Spotlight is on

 Phillip Gwynne 
 

Phillip has recently returned to Australia and now lives in Melbourne after many years spent in Indonesia.  Phillip is best known for his 1998 debut novel, Deadly, Unna? a rights-of-passage story which uses Australian rules football as a backdrop to explore race relations in a small town in South Australia.  The novel won several awards, selling over 200,000 copies, and was adapted into a 2002 film titled Australian Rules.  Phillip has since written numerous other books, including children's and young adult books as well as screenplays for television and movies.  Phillip has recently launched his new picture book, Brothers from a Different Mother.

The good news is that Phillip will be in BRISBANE for Book Week, and is available for booking NOW!!
