Gwyneth Jane Page

Gwyneth Jane Page's novel, The World As We Know It, was shortlisted in the CYA 2018 competition: a wonderful achievement for a first young adult novel.

Gwyneth started writing in 2014 and now has four books published in the series The Travel Adventures of PJ Mouse.  The books are set in Canada, Queensland, England and New Zealand.

"Gwyneth Jane Page and daughter Megan were guest presenters at our annual literature Carnivale for 2017. The students thoroughly enjoyed their repertoire and the adventures of PJ Mouse. Both Gwyneth and Megan were able to maintain an interesting dialogue of narrative and illustration that kept the kids enthralled. They also spoke at length about their global travels and the advent of their main character PJ Mouse. The children asked many probing questions about our world and ways to keep it peaceful and clean. I would highly recommend them to any school or library setting."

Belmont State School, August 2017

Kim Michelle Toft, Samantha Wheeler and the late Narelle Oliver

These three talented authors have been shortlisted on the Wilderness Society's Environment Award for Children's Literature.

"This is the third time we have had Kim visit our school and she did not disappoint. She is engaging and informative and was a big hit with both students and teachers."

Emmanuel College - May 2018

"Samantha was an absolute delight. The boys loved listening to her, and they are now keen to read her books. She handled the students and their exuberance exceptionally well. Her manner was beautiful, and we were disappointed to see her leave our school. We would have liked to have kept her for the whole week, not just three days."

Toowoomba Grammar School - August, 2017

Kathryn Apel

Kathryn's book Bully on the Bus has just been released in America with Kane Miller Books.

Kat’s goal is to find the perfect word for every situation. Sometimes that’s a lot harder than you think! Kathryn is available to talk to your school, library or writing group. An accomplished poet in rhyme and free verse, and active within the children’s publishing industry, Kat offers a range of talks and is happy to tailor activities to best suit your context.
