About the Author: Kellie Byrnes

Kellie Byrnes is a children’s author, freelancer writer and reviewer. Her first picture book, Cloud Conductor, is due for release in May 2018, and her second picture book, Yes! No. will be published by Little Pink Dog Books in late 2019/early 2020. Kellie has a BA degree in Literature, is a member of SCBWI and 12×12, and was chosen as a mentee in the 2018 Writing with the Stars U.S. mentorship program. Kellie’s ghost-written work has been used by companies such as MYOB, Intuit, St. George Bank, Optus, Mortgage Choice, Fiji Airways, Gumtree and Natvia, and published on sites like Huffington Post, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inc. and Lifehacker.

About the Illustrator: Gabriella Petruso

Gabriella lives in the north of England with her pet dog, Rufus, and his pet hamster, Norman. She is currently a doctor by day and an award winning illustrator by every other waking hour. She uses ink to bring her whimsical characters to life and spends a lot of time at her local zoo seeking her next muse – the hairier the better! Entirely self-taught.

Yes! No. will be Gabriella’s first children’s picture book. She hopes to help inspire a love of art and stories in a new generation of children and grown ups.
