Children, Young Adult, and Adult Writers’ and Illustrators’ Conference, is a conference for writers and illustrators of all ages, all genres. We are dedicated to helping creatives improve their craft and take their writing and illustrating to the next level. Whether you're a beginner or an established author or illustrator, we have something for everyone. 

Our conference offers a wide range of professional development sessions that cater to various writing genres, including children's board books and fiction novels for adults. Our speakers provide valuable insights and tips to help you hone your storytelling skills and achieve success in the publishing industry. It is an opportunity to network with fellow writers and illustrators, and industry professionals, to gain valuable knowledge, and take the next step in your creative journey.

Conference and dinner

6th July – IN-PERSON Conference Day 1 at Royal on the Park, Brisbane. This will be streamed to everyone ONLINE.

6th July – IN-PERSON Networking Dinner

13th and 14th July – Online Conference Day 2 and 3 for all genres.

Assessments

Online assessments – 29th & 30th of June, and the 13th & 14th of July.

Bootcamps

2nd & 3rd March – Online Bootcamps. 

7th July – In-person Bootcamps at Royal on the Park, Brisbane.

Workshops, full-day masterclasses, and editor bootcamps will be conducted by Australian and International published writers, editors, agents, illustrators, and industry professionals.

The masterclasses and workshops will be available to rewatch for one week after they are presented.
