UPLIT is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to volunteer for our exceptional 2017 Brisbane Writers Festival (BWF) – read below for more info, or click here to fill in our volunteer form and apply.

Brisbane Writers Festival returns in 2017 from Wednesday 6 to Saturday 10 September.  Presented by UPLIT, BWF is designed to explore ideas and imagination through conversation and debate, powered by the year’s best writing. Held in tropical springtime within the State Library of Queensland and the adjacent Cultural Precinct, this annual and much-loved cultural event continues to grow every year and attract an eager and ever-increasing community of highly-engaged readers. 

Brisbane Writers Festival could not take place without the generosity of our 200-strong team of volunteers whose invaluable commitment allows us to deliver a spectacular event.

What roles are available? 

For most roles, no special qualifications are required – just fluency in English, and a can-do attitude! Some roles do require skills in events, production, customer service, etc, or special requirements such as a Blue Card – please check each Position Description through the links below.
