Five sessions are now sold out, with 10 or less tickets available for some sessions with Anna Fienberg (4005, 5006), James Foley (5007, 5009), Jackie French (4007), Leigh Hobbs (2008), Garth Nix (1107), Wendy Orr (2004) and Mark Smith (1105, 4009).

Browse our full Word Play line-up at uplit.com.au, or email us at info@uplit.com.au for further information.

While sessions with Jackie Smith, Leigh Hobbs and James Foley are filling up fast, teachers can still hear from these popular Festival artists by attending their Professional Development sessions throughout the week.

Good news for those passionate people with a hankering to get involved in this year’s Brisbane Writers Festival - volunteer applications are now open for submissions.

And don't forget to save the date! On Monday 24 July our full program will be released. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date, or request a printed program here.
