Louise Park

Louise Park loves secret identities. She pretended to be H. I. Larry when she wrote Zac Power Test Drives and Spy Recruit and Mac Park when she co-wrote Boy vs Beast and D-Bot Squad. She also writes books under her own name, including a series about a boarding school in space and a series about a girl who lives in a castle and travels back in time. There is even a series about a girl who disappears through a magic portal into fairy tale ballerina lands.

Louise has taught primary school children of all ages, trained teachers in literacy education, created and developed successful reading resources, and has been a publisher for an international publishing house. She writes books for children and tweens and adults.

  • I just wanted to let you know how impressed we were with your presentation. Both the boys and classroom teachers took away some great ideas. Would have loved to have you longer because you were inspiring.

  • Louise was a wonderful hit with the kids. Open and engaging, her sessions were a great success. She was very giving of herself, her adventures as a writer and publisher, and the stories she has shaped with such creative imagination. Children from Kindergarten through to Year 6 were delighted to bring her stories to life through sound effects, dress ups, and re-enactments. A passionate advocate for children’s literacy, Louise was the perfect ambassador for our Book Week celebrations.
