Covid 19 Lockdowns have had a big impact on our bookings for Term 3 of 2021 and for all of our touring speakers.  Speakers Ink wants to thank each one of our clients and speakers for being so patient whilst we worked through rescheduling and changing bookings.
 

New 2022 Rates

Speakers Ink has been closely looking at rates for 2022, taking on board the new current standard rates as advertised by the Australian Society of Authors.  As such, we can advise that come 1st January, 2022 rates will be increasing (ever so slightly).  New standard 2022 rates will be finalised over the coming few weeks.

In keeping with rate rises in the past, any booking that is secured for 2022 prior to the end of 2021, will be locked in as per our current fee structure.  Therefore, to beat the price rise, consider your 2022 bookings today!

Congratulations Dub Leffler and Lian Tanner

Bindi, illustrated by Dub Leffler and written by Kirli Saunders has taken out the Queensland Literary Award in the children's book category

A Clue for Clara by Lian Tanner has won the Sisters in Crime's 2021 Davitt Award for Children's Best Crime Novel.

The Spotlight is on Historical Novelists!

Anna Ciddor  for The Boy Who Stepped Through Time. This intriguing novel has attracted fabulous reviews, is a bestseller and has been reprinted acouple of times already since publication in June.    Katrina Nannestad for We are Wolves, the highly acclaimed story about the "wolf children" left to fend for themselves in the closing months of World War II   Pamela Rushby for The Mummy Smugglers of Crumblin Castle, a ripping yarn throwing into focus the 19th century practice of unwrapping Egyptian mummies at social events.
