Testimonials
Jan-Andrew Henderson's author workshops were an incredible asset to our school. Working with all boys, it is so important to find someone who can connect with the audience, pique their interest in books, and be a stepping-stone to improving overall literacy. Jan did a great job using mixed media to retain attention and we all learnt some incredible things. We'd love to have him back one day!
St. Mary's College - October, 2025This is about the 4th time I have booked JA Henderson. He always engages the students with a fun and informative presentation. Students respond so well to his mischievous sense of fun and quirky examples. I will no doubt invite JA Henderson back again!
Mt. Maria College - August, 2025Jan's workshops were engaging and relatable for students. He used short film clips and humour to support his great writing tips and get his message across. Students really enjoyed his workshop!
Morayfield State High School - May, 2025The year 7s are still talking about you. It’s always wonderful to see students inspired to love reading.
Wellington Point State High School, 2023Jan was incredibly engaging and put a unique spin on the writing process. He was generous with his time and went above and beyond our expectations when guiding our students through the creation of their short stories.
