Tim Ayliffe

 

Tim Ayliffe is an award-winning author who worked as a journalist and media executive for 25 years. He has produced thousands of hours of television, written for digital and print, and worked as a story consultant for creative screen projects.

As a bestselling author and experienced media executive, Tim passionately believes in the power of storytelling and the importance of reading. He loves sharing the lessons he has learned, while giving students the confidence to write creatively. His creative writing classes are for all high school students, with more specialised programs and workshops for Years 11-12 focussed on the craft of writing.

He writes novels for adults and children and his works include: The Greater Good, State of Fear, The Enemy Within, The Wrong Man, Killer Traitor Spy, which won the People’s Choice Award at the 2024 Danger Awards, and Dark Desert Road. Tim’s novels are all currently in development for television.

Tim has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Graduate Diploma in Journalism, and was a recipient of the US State Department’s Individual Leadership Scholarship in the United States. He’s also an IECL accredited leadership coach.

Award-winning author and veteran journalist Tim Ayliffe has developed specialised classes for English students to provide them with the tools and tips to become confident and creative storytellers.
