Professional in all interactions. Prompt and friendly communication.
Thanks for organizing the author talk yesterday. Our girls had a lovely time and left feeling quite inspired about writing. I really appreciated the opportunity to attend.
Kerry has just finished her presentations. Very successful. Praise all round. The kids LOVED her. Many thanks for organising the booking.
Tash presented a very engaging session to our students which they loved. She discussed thought provoking questions and First Nations themes in an age appropriate manner.
Our expectations were met and exceeded. Everything ran smoothly and Donna was very flexible about fitting into our program. I would book Donna Dyson again and I would also recommend her to other schools / organisations.
Pip engaged with students from K-6, changing her presentation for different age groups. She was adaptable to changes throughout the day, as is often the case in a busy school setting. Thanks Pip!
During our Book Week celebrations this year we were delighted to have Serena Geddes spend time with our students from Kindergarten to Year 6. With the younger students (Kindy – Yr 2) she spoke with enthusiasm about the way her illustrations make it into books and entertained the students with her drawings making sure there was collaboration from the students as to what she drew. One of our students was chosen to help her as she read Samuel’s Kisses and he will certainly remember thi [...]
Dee read from her book 'Beyond Belief' and shared the incredible story behind its creation. The students were captivated as she spoke about her writing process and the real-life events that inspired the book. After the reading, Dee conducted a fantastic writing workshop with our students, sparking creativity and helping them develop their own storytelling skills. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a talented and passionate author!
Nick Earls' visit to our school was a great experience for the students. They were engaged and we really liked that Nick answered their questions and to some degree altered his talk in order to do so.
Katherine Battersby’s workshops and story sessions are full of joy, creativity and imagination. With her gentle warmth and playful humour, she instantly connects with her young audience and brings her books to life. Linked to primary years learning outcomes, her sessions spark curiosity and confidence. Katherine’s “Cranky Comics” sessions invited upper primary and lower secondary school learners the chance to explore comic panelling, speech bubbles and storytelling in a lively hands-on workshop [...]
Aleesah was an amazing presenter and very popular across all our year levels, Prep - Year 6.
It’s may sound like a cliché-but it’s a true one- Crystal got even reluctant writers to complete a story. For at least one student this may be the first time that he has done this!
