Rachael's visit was a gift to us! The teachers and girls loved her workshops and presentations.

Liz was very enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. She engaged the children very well and they all enjoyed the session immensely. We received nothing but positive feedback from parents, wanting to know more about Liz and her work.

So great to be immersed in a writer’s mind and thought process. The first hand experience about how to write and reasons to write were invaluable. A real opportunity to learn more about the writing process and he inspired the children as I was. I love the connection with the outside classroom world where writing has a place. Students were engaged and motivated. Phillip has an engaging way of speaking, and relating back to his general experience made it more meaningful.

Sharon was brilliant with our groups for Book Week in 2024! Engaging and entertaining with the children, with plenty of laughs along the way. The create-a-story process included excellent tips on character and setting building, with some lovely singing for the younger groups as well. We’d love to have Sharon back for more!

Zena Shapter's workshops and talks have been thoroughly loved by staff and customers at Mosman Library Service. We have engaged her to work with both our teens and our adults, and everyone has always come out of her talks and workshops eager to use what they've learned and full of praise for her instruction. She is also a pleasure to work with, always professional and friendly. If you are looking for a speaker or someone to lead a workshop, I would look no further than Zena.

Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes. She is a dynamic and energetic presenter who encourages students to push their boundaries and achieve greatness. She’s a kind and encouraging mentor who helps students develop characters and stories, and is a pleasure to work with.

Krista interacted keenly with all year levels from Prep to Year 6 and the content of her talks was engaging. Would recommend her to others and definitely book her again to present at our College.

Liaison was smooth

Having Kim come to our centre for her art workshops has been an amazing experience. Even children who usually have no interest in art or being inside found a lot of excitement and passion as Kim arrived each day. Her expertise really shines through as she explains often complex art concepts in a way our 4 and 5-year-olds understood. Sandhya Parappukkaran’s session was focused on brainstorming ideas for writing topics. The students left the session truly inspired, begging to continue with their ideas when we returned to class. We have since been able to use these techniques in the classroom. This was an excellent session where the students learnt great skills, including incorporating their own cultures or special memories into their writing.

Jane Smith’s visit was very educational and informative. It made students want to learn more about characters in her books and read her books.
