Marco has been coming to our school for many years and continues to delight and entertain the students and teachers.

I was very impressed with the way Speakers Ink worked so hard to ensure we had Speakers for our Book Week this year. After a last minute cancellation by who we had booked in, Sandie worked very hard to find someone who would do a great job and she chose very well for us. Thanks very much to Sandie and the team.

Jan was wonderful with our Kinder students right up to our Year 6 students. Her presentations really catered to the needs and interests of the children, particularly the older students. Julie was popular and engaging across all our primary and high school classes. At our high school she managed an auditorium session with all our middle school students and encouraged contribution and discussion. The students enjoyed the session and it had a follow on effect in the library, with all her books going on loan and being in demand.

It was really really good and I liked going through the photos. She took a really good photo and we all didn't know it was a fake! I enjoyed that she had a lot of description about how she made her three books come together. She told us about the prehistoric times and the characters. It was fun. Jo gave us tips for our writing and it was nice to know that new and different stuff.

What an absolute joy it was to have Kat working at our school this week, as part of the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust. Both students and teachers have been inspired with her passion for poetry and children’s literature. Kat conveyed how only a few select words on a page can be the makings of a great piece of poetry! I have attended several of Alison’s workshops, the most recent being the Cairns Tropical Writers’ Conference. Alison gave a presentation that was well researched, with informative slides and handouts that were understandable and not overloaded in detail. Not only was her workshop presentation excellent, her interactive management of the group (over twenty plus people) kept her audience engaged for over an hour.
