Brett was very commanding, was able to give strong credentials and good examples of what students are facing. Some student input would have been useful, to keep the two-way loop going.

It was a pleasure to have Sheryl Gwyther work with our students at The Cathedral School of St Anne and St James in Townsville. Sheryl delivered workshops and presentations to students from years 3 to 9, before guiding our senior students on a three-day writing camp in the rainforest of Paluma. Jade delivered a very engaging presentation. The students enjoyed her talk and responded well to her drawing tutorial. She gave positive feedback to the students.

Kim enthralled our cohort of Year 2s with a deeply engaging presentation that related closely to some of the curriculum foci they have been exploring. The Year 5 and 6 students who participated in the collaborative workshop were overjoyed at their results. Overall, Kim was an outstanding visitor to our school, with great skill, content, and ability to manage large groups of students effortlessly. Students and staff alike were very impressed!

Darren was a very engaging and gracious author to present to our students during Book Week. He presented to 3 different year groups and was entertaining and willing to answer any of the boys' questions. I would have no hesitation in asking him to the school to present again. He was great fun.

Jackie more than met all our expectations. She was very warmly received by the students. She was very entertaining and empowered many of them to read. The students are still talking about her visit. We would certainly recommend Jackie to visit other schools.

The LORDS community were absolutely delighted to have Charlotte visit our primary school as a guest author. Taryn’s creative writing sessions with Toowoomba Region Libraries were fantastic. Taryn has great content to share on the entire process of creative writing, editing and publishing which she presents in an easy and conversational style.

Kyle's visit was informative and entertaining. He had a great connection to the students and presented his material in a humorous way. He was punctual and kept to timeframes. I would definitely recommend him to others.
