Wow, what an amazing week! This Book Week was truly the best experience I’ve had in my 16 years of program management at our school. Tim Harris presented to our students in virtual presentations. He engaged with the students and was attentive to the audience and their questions. Tim apologised for not being able to present live due to illness and more than made up for this via the virtual presentations.

Paridhi visited our classroom last term to motivate the children's narrative writing. She demonstrated how she illustrates her story books, read one of her stories and completed some guided drawing with the students. The children were very engaged and interested in Paridhi presentation. They were wowed when she used her technology to show how her draft drawings could be turned into the finished coloured illustrations. I have been dealing with Speakers Ink for nearly 10 years now and always find the staff to be very helpful and accommodating, particularly through the recent years. It may have taken 3 years but we finally got Tristan over the border!

Leigh was incredibly well organised and extremely engaging for our entire school. He managed to run 3 sessions that were interactive and inspiring for all 900 of our students.

The boys loved Jo's presentation and they liked her tips for building the story particularly her travels to Finland for research.

Irena's presentation was wonderful and more than met my expectations. She was also incredibly patient with me as we muddled through with the tech side of digital author visits and conscientious about following up. I would recommend her to any library service and hope we have the opportunity to work together again at some point.

Justin was a very engaging speaker. He shared some useful information about his journey as a writer and helpful writing tips.

Josie was really well prepared and put the focus on key aspects of Podcasting which I know meant she had to reframe lots of her story writing info. She had lots of great advice and interesting ideas. (Customised Presentation)
