We were delighted to host Tannya for our school visit. Tannya is an amazing illustrator and students enjoyed her illustrations for Dingo, Kookaburra, Mallee Sky and Heartbeat. She gave the students many tips on how the illustrations were made and shared her techniques. They enjoyed the drawing lesson with her easy-to-follow instructions. Tannya was an engaging speaker for all ages. She even included the students in a wonderful drama activity as well. I would definitely recommend Tannya for a [...]
Speakers Ink were helpful, prompt with any responses to questions and provided all the information necessary for the author visits.
I was inspired so much when you came in and how you turned family history into an absolutely amazing book! I really hope that one day I can do the same
Peter successfully 'reached' and entertained his audience, with a suitably fitting topic. Student,. parents and teachers informed me how much they enjoyed his speeches.
Rochelle is the perennially most-requested speaker at our annual Showcase for authors and aspiring writers. She brings a friendly tone, lively interaction and a wealth of valuable information to all sessions, whether as a stand-alone presenter or as part of a panel.
Students really enjoyed meeting Anil and making connections to her illustrations while learning more about her creative process. Her presentation was engaging and well paced, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of how an illustrator brings a story to life. The interactive elements encouraged thoughtful participation, and her work with small groups gave students valuable opportunities to ask questions, share ideas and feel supported in their own creative thinking.
Philip was engaging and very quick to tailor his talk to our student population. The workshop was very worthwhile boosting students' confidence and leaving them with a poem of which they were proud.
We were fortunate to have Gwyneth and Megan present to our students here at All Saints as part of our biannual Livewire Festival this year. The ladies presented information about their books The Travel Adventures of PJ Mouse, in particular the Queensland story. Their presentations were engaging and interesting. They really inspired students to reflect and write about their own travels. This impact continued throughout the semester. We would certainly welcome them back to our school.
AB Paterson College students in Prep to Year 3 were lucky enough to watch four performances by Nadia Sundie. I can’t find the words to express how fantastic Nadia was. Her energy level remained the same (and super high) through all 4 highly engaging performances. She was hilarious – not only the students were talking of their bellyaches, sore cheeks and red faces, but teachers also commented on how much they laughed and enjoyed the show. She also got everyone thinking and using their imagination [...]
Storylines has welcomed Fifi as a featured writer and storyteller on several of our National Story Tours. Her lively approach to storytelling and performing has been enjoyed and appreciated by the various audiences of all ages.
