Charlie was so engaging with the students. They had huge smiles on their faces the whole time and thoroughly enjoyed his presentation. He is relatable, entertaining and talented. He can help students bring ideas to life through poetic devices in an amusing and highly engaging session.

Mark was receptive to the creative writing focus areas as outlined by the students and had prepared materials to support them in this regard. Mark's presentation was engaging and he was encouraging of the students' efforts. He was also generous in the sharing of, not only his knowledge but his resources. We hope Mark is keen to work with our Creative Writing class again.

Lisa and Tracey exceeded our expectations!!! From our Prep class to our Year 8 class they were engaging, humorous, informative and warm. All classes were highly engaged and all of our teachers said that they were the best speakers we have ever had at our school! They were brilliant. We would definitely book Tracey and Lisa again and highly recommend them to any other school.

It was a delight to have Sophie Beer at our school. She was such an enthusiastic and engaging presenter, adapting her style to engage small and large groups of Year 6-8 students. Just a quick note to let you know how much we as a school appreciated the workshops and author talk last week. The students got so much from the opportunity, and were so excited by having met you.

David was excellent. He held the students' attention throughout the presentation with his warm and relaxed manner. The students were in awe of his talent as he shared his tips for drawing, as we watched his illustrations come to life. Excellent presentation.

Vacen presented a series of engaging workshops for our students in years 4, 5 and 6 at our 2020 School Book Week. It was wonderful how she catered her program around “writing focus” requests from teachers. The children thoroughly enjoyed not only the writing activity but also the chance to learn about “World Building” in Fantasy writing and character development. Vacen was prepared, professional and it was a pleasure hosting her here at Our Lady of Mt Carmel.

Although I organised Dubb's visit to my school I was on leave at the time of his visit. I had a number of teachers get in touch to tell me how impressed they were. I am now back at work and have asked the students their thoughts. The kids gave Dubb 10 out of 10 for his presentation, they loved his sessions so much. He was described as very kind and extremely creative.

Tristan was amazing and the children loved the visit. They were captivated throughout the performance and joined in with the activities. Since his visit, all Tristan Bancks books have been out on loan continuously. Our teaching staff were also very impressed with Tristan.

It was fantastic having Helen in person to talk with our students at Bright P-12 College. She was so engaging, and her presentation was intriguing with historical photographs and artifacts from the area. My students were keen to know more and to read ‘The Rebels of Buffalo’.
