Nikki is the most perfect guest author for Prep to Year 3! She brought props, played a musical instrument, sang songs, encouraged the students to dance, read books and presented a drawing tutorial. It was a delight to have Sophie Beer at our school. She was such an enthusiastic and engaging presenter, adapting her style to engage small and large groups of Year 6-8 students. Dr Rob Bell’s Science Show was an absolute highlight at PLC! His energy, humour, and passion for science had students engaged from start to finish. With jaw-dropping experiments and fun explanations, he made science exciting, accessible, and unforgettable. Dr Rob has a rare gift for inspiring curiosity and sparking wonder, leaving students buzzing with excitement long after the show. A fantastic experience that reminded us all how fun and powerful learning can be!

We appreciated Maria's presentation because the children, and the teachers, not only found her engaging and inspiring, but it was refreshing to gain an author's perspective of non-fiction writing.

Karen was able to engage the students with her knowledge, humour and personal journey as a writer. Her delivery on how to develop a character and narrative was most helpful to students and teachers.

Charlie was engaging with the students. It was incredible that within a 1 hour time slot, he was able to build enough rapport that they felt confident presenting their creative pieces to an audience. All of the students had incredibly positive feedback to share, the only negative was that the sessions weren’t longer!

I just wanted to say a very big thank you for your wonderfully engaging author visit today. You had our kids hooked from the get go! The teachers were also very complimentary and have been inspired with ideas for their quick write sessions with students.
