Dr Rob Bell’s Science Show was an absolute highlight at PLC! His energy, humour, and passion for science had students engaged from start to finish. With jaw-dropping experiments and fun explanations, he made science exciting, accessible, and unforgettable. Dr Rob has a rare gift for inspiring curiosity and sparking wonder, leaving students buzzing with excitement long after the show. A fantastic experience that reminded us all how fun and powerful learning can be!

Julie was popular and engaging across all our primary and high school classes. At our high school she managed an auditorium session with all our middle school students and encouraged contribution and discussion. The students enjoyed the session and it had a follow on effect in the library, with all her books going on loan and being in demand.

Phil was engaging for the children and taught them about the importance of reading, and the writing process. They liked him and listened to him and have been more engaged in their reading and writing since. Phil is an excellent speaker, as well as an interesting and agreeable personality, that I would highly recommend to other primary schools.

It was a delight to have Sophie Beer at our school. She was such an enthusiastic and engaging presenter, adapting her style to engage small and large groups of Year 6-8 students. Her presentation was a great mix of backstory on her author and illustrator journey and practical tips for the students to approach their own writing and illustrating. On behalf of Graceville SS and the Year 5 cohort I just wanted to say a big thank you for your wonderful writing workshop on Friday. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more. January is a wonderful author and speaker — warm, witty, and incredibly engaging. She had the audience laughing, reflecting, and completely captivated from start to finish. Her ability to connect so naturally with readers made the event a truly memorable experience for us.

We were delighted with Isobelle’s visit and would certainly like to have Isobelle visit again. We would certainly recommend Speaker’s Ink and Isobelle to other organisations and / or schools.

Dub was a very engaging presenter and was able to get both our visiting school children and the ACU adult students participating in his workshop. He was flexible and worked around our timing restrictions. His presentation was fun and very interesting.

Nikki is the most perfect guest author for Prep to Year 3! She brought props, played a musical instrument, sang songs, encouraged the students to dance, read books and presented a drawing tutorial. Tony's personal connection to the specific audience is an absolute talent. By listening to the specific questions asked by different year levels the groups each had a very different and unique presentation. His ability to draw and make connections to his works is pure talent.
