Speakers Ink is an agency that handles my requests and questions promptly and efficiently. I like that they don't bombard me but give me enough assistance to make our author visits successful. I always feel comfortable in my dealings with Speakers Ink.

It was really really good and I liked going through the photos. She took a really good photo and we all didn't know it was a fake! I enjoyed that she had a lot of description about how she made her three books come together. She told us about the prehistoric times and the characters. It was fun. Jo gave us tips for our writing and it was nice to know that new and different stuff.

Julie was popular and engaging across all our primary and high school classes. At our high school she managed an auditorium session with all our middle school students and encouraged contribution and discussion. The students enjoyed the session and it had a follow on effect in the library, with all her books going on loan and being in demand.

Peter was fantastic. The students were engaged and really enjoyed his presentation.

Phil was engaging for the children and taught them about the importance of reading, and the writing process. They liked him and listened to him and have been more engaged in their reading and writing since. Phil is an excellent speaker, as well as an interesting and agreeable personality, that I would highly recommend to other primary schools.

We were lucky enough to spend some time with Dr Charlotte Birkmanis. Charlotte was amazing to listen to, and it is rare to have an internationally renowned scientist and speaker of her calibre visit a school. Our students enjoyed hearing all of Charlotte's amazing shark facts and the wonderful job opportunities that are available to them in the world of STEM.

What an absolute joy it was to have Kat working at our school this week, as part of the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust. Both students and teachers have been inspired with her passion for poetry and children’s literature. Kat conveyed how only a few select words on a page can be the makings of a great piece of poetry! How brilliant, is this sage advice for the reluctant writer! Kat’s lesson content and creativity will definitely help our students continue to shine like diamonds!

Entertaining, engaging and inspiring

Zachary Ashford tailored his presentation to a diverse and large cohort of students. His sessions were interactive, engaging and entertaining. Zach sought feedback constantly and communicated effectively throughout our visit. Would definately recommend!

Jan was wonderful with our Kinder students right up to our Year 6 students. Her presentations really catered to the needs and interests of the children, particularly the older students.
