Great service as always!

Sandhya Parappukkaran’s session was focused on brainstorming ideas for writing topics. The students left the session truly inspired, begging to continue with their ideas when we returned to class. We have since been able to use these techniques in the classroom. This was an excellent session where the students learnt great skills, including incorporating their own cultures or special memories into their writing.

​What a wonderful way to celebrate Book Week…with a real life author and illustrator – Shannon Horsfall! I wanted to let you know about the success of the Writers’ block event, at Robina branch library and auditorium last Saturday. It was such a good day and the feedback we received on the speakers was overwhelmingly positive. Venero was very engaging, great to work with, and pitched his presentation perfectly for the event. He made it so easy for City Libraries to look good. Thanks for your assistance in finding excellent speakers to make this event so successful.

Simon was great…. He manipulated his presentations to the age level and composition of the audience and handled both the 130 students presentation and the 50 students equally well. Would definitely get Simon back next year again if he’s available.

Presenter was very engaging and charismatic. Children were inspired. Even children who hate art were enthusiastic to be involved. Story planning content was very beneficial to engage children in writing. Fantastic work! Excellent.

Stephany Steggall is an eclectic researcher and author. I have personally recommended her as a potential Colin Roderick lecturer to the Foundation for Australian Literary studies at James Cook University. During the memorable year we worked together at an international school in Ethiopia, Stephany inspired her public speaking students to great success.

Fantastic presentation as always. John more than met our expectations, we would definitely use him again as a speaker and recommend him to others.

After Kathmandu announced the acquisition of Rip Curl, Tim did a magnificent job bringing “The Rip Curl Story” to life at our Kathmandu management conference. He was inspiring, full of humour and very knowledgeable sharing the essence of Rip Curl and its founders. The entire management team – around 70 team members – had a great evening listening to Tim. We are even more excited about partnering up with an iconic brand like Rip Curl after Tim’s presentation.’

Andrea was a great speaker. She engaged her audiences, across multiple ages in each session. She was approachable, articulate and her content was appropriate for each group. On the lead up to the event, Andrea made contact and went out of her way to tailor her speeches to suit our themes and ethos. She was considerate and thoughtful. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a speaker.

Thank you for the work you did with our girls yesterday. Students and staff alike loved your sessions, and all your books have flown out of the library doors this morning to be used in classrooms. Thank you so much!
