Nikki Rogers captivated our students during Library Day! They responded enthusiastically to her engaging presentation and thoroughly enjoyed exploring her books. She provided wonderful insights into her writing and illustration techniques, inspiring creativity at every turn. A highlight of the session was the drawing activity, where students had the chance to design their own chickens and imagine unique worlds for them. Amazing! Sophie was fantastic and so great online for our digital events. High energy and great with children of diverse ages.

You have done a fabulous job. The boys and I am certain that you will be responsible for the conversion of some of the boys from non-readers to keen readers and future writers. Copies of Moonshadow are flying out the library as I write. Once again, from Iona, a very sincere thank you for the wonderful author in residence week. I know that your presentations and workshops resonated with our students. Wishing you all the very best and hope to see you again soon.

Tamara supported this process in running smoothly from first contact back in February. She answered all my questions and provided valuable suggestions as this was my first time coordinating this workshop for my school.

“Really gave us an insight into her passion. Very commanding presence instantly captivating the audience.”

o Zewlan was a wonderful emcee for my book launch. She's a warm, engaging speaker, and manages an audience with ease. I can highly recommend her as a speaker. ~ Charlotte Barkla, Author

Tamsin's intervention was of very high quality. She explained very well where her inspiration to write came from. She got the students involved. She answered their questions.

The students and teachers were very impressed with Peter and should funds allow, we would like to have him back again next year.

Peter's workshop was, without a doubt, the highlight of our library year! We already have plans to invite Peter back for a follow-up workshop in the near future. I also wanted to thank you for making Peter available to schools through Speakers Ink.
