Prue is an exceptional speaker who connects with students and seeks to ensure that their questions are answered. She admirably prepares herself for her presentations. Prue's wisdom, care and compassion make her an excellent writer, and presenter.

It is always a pleasure to have Gregg visit St. Joseph's, the students are always so engaged and love the stories he shares. They also love learning about Gregg's culture and engaging in song and dance. The St. Joseph's community are very grateful for his special visit.

Gwyneth Jane Page and daughter Megan were guest presenters at our annual literature Carnivale for 2017. The students thoroughly enjoyed their repertoire and the adventures of PJ Mouse. Both Gwyneth and Megan were able to maintain an interesting dialogue of narrative and illustration that kept the kids enthralled. Taylor provided Cultural Incursion to our school as part of celebrating NAIDOC Week. He engaged and inspired our students, who were immersed in his presentation, story-telling, music and education. He went out of his way to speak with individual kids, make himself available at breaks and was generous and patient. We will look to continue to book Taylor for other cultural learning and opportunities.

Gabriel passed on his vast knowledge and professional experience to students through interactive activities that focused on the process of designing a character, the tools in creating a page spread, portraying the emotional body language of characters and training the eye in composition. Gabriel’s presentation methods were engaging, motivational and inspirational.

Excellent! Great class. Instructions how to write a story were so easy to follow for young children.

Cath’s presentation was fantastic. Cath has a wonderful way of captivating and inspiring her audience. (We) would definitely have Cath back again.

The workshop was engaging and the boys were immediately hands-on.

Brett was very commanding, was able to give strong credentials and good examples of what students are facing. Some student input would have been useful, to keep the two-way loop going.

Sandhya was at the primary school p-6: I had one teacher comment that she was probably the best author they had ever had in terms of keeping the kids engaged and attentive.

Stephany Steggall won the Hazel Rowley Literary Fellowship in 2013. She accepted the award at Adelaide Writers’ Week in front of a large audience. By 2015 Stephany had written “Interestingly Enough: The Life of Tom Keneally”, acknowledged as a well-researched and highly acclaimed biography. Wow! What energy and enthusiasm. Martin is an extremely talented performer, illustrator and author. Engaging is an understatement, the library was literally filled with screams of delight. Lots of fun, laughter and pure joy. Martin has a very keen sense of humour that kids just love. Our students were in awe watching him draw during the session and are delighted that they can keep the drawings. Trevor was fantastic, very easy to work with. Very Professional and also flexible. He was able to pivot and add to his speaking as the need/audience required. This was particularly good when working with young children who want to wriggle, so he also jumped up and gave them an opportunity to wriggle and dance! Was so good!!!

We appreciated the organisation of Samantha as a replacement for Tim Harris at such short notice.
