What people are saying
I think for a school to miss an entertaining and informative seminar by David would be a sad loss for any school community, especially since poetry needs to 'come alive' for students through meaningful rendition.
Prue Mason did a great writing workshop with the 4-7s using hats. The kids were busy the whole time and she left the worksheets for the teachers to continue using in the class.
Matt did a great job stimulating the boys’ interest in an alternative look at Brisbane’s past.
All communications with Speakers Ink Agency were effective and prompt. Staff were very pleasant to deal with.
Everything was well organised and went to plan. James was an excellent speaker and engaged with all year levels. He was easy to work with and left some of his drawings for the school to display. I would recommend him to others.
We absolutely loved having Rob with us at Wild Things. His presentation was a brilliant blend of stories, science, and mostly - fun. The workshop was really engaging and interactive and the kids had a blast. Having Rob at Wild Things was definitely a highlight of our school holiday program!
Tony was a great hit with the students (at the Primary Taster Day) and they really enjoyed his workshops.
All the students had such an amazing time creating stories with Crystal!
Thanks again for giving your talk. It was informative, interesting, and full of useful insights. The students all commented on how good it was.
Tash presented a very engaging session to our students which they loved. She discussed thought provoking questions and First Nations themes in an age appropriate manner.
Deb was a very engaging speaker and performer. The children really enjoyed the visit and have been madly borrowing her books. Deb pitched her talk to each year level and managed to have everyone laughing and learning at their level - including the teachers.
