I have worked with Lachlann as a teacher, middle leader and now school principal and I see students, staff (and myself) leave his sessions buzzing with enthusiasm and ideas. His style, creativity and passion for what he’s doing is contagious for all. It starts from the moment he enters the building and continues long after he’s left.

Prue Mason did a great writing workshop with the 4-7s using hats. The kids were busy the whole time and she left the worksheets for the teachers to continue using in the class.

Matt did a great job stimulating the boys’ interest in an alternative look at Brisbane’s past.

Carla was the guest author at our annual Read With Your Dad event. This involves students and their Dads all reading the same book then attending an author evening. Feedback from all was that they really enjoyed Carla's book, We Saw What You Started and found the action, characters and setting all drew them in. It was so great to have Darren come to visit our classes…Darren was engaging, inspiring and certainly knowledgeable about his craft. He read from his book, talked about the characters he created and shared bits from his personal life too. Darren was comedic, which always captivates kids, and summarized his presentation through a game. They loved it. We’d love to have him back.

Kids have been telling me all about the performance and the story. They loved the puppets, the sound effects and enjoyed seeing it projected on the screen so they could watch along.
