What people are saying
Thank you once again, for being the most superb speaker's agency possible, with so much care and commitment.
Brett kept the boys engaged for the entire hour with lots of positive comments and thank yous from them. The parent presentation was also well received.
Lachlann's model is incredibly collaborative and focuses on the entire process, where students' participation and reflection are key. I LOVVVVVEEEDDD THIS WORKSHOP! Thank you :)
Darren’s writing and presence resonated very well with teens…His talk was quick-moving, incorporated subject matter geared to the age group, and got them participating, laughing and having fun. I felt that he had a big impact on the students and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
The delightful Jackie French visited us this morning. Jackie is a captivating speaker and her work is always well received. Is there is any chance that we can procure another booking for Jackie in 2013? We would love to have her visit us again!!!
Carla was the guest author at our annual Read With Your Dad event. This involves students and their Dads all reading the same book then attending an author evening. Feedback from all was that they really enjoyed Carla's book, We Saw What You Started and found the action, characters and setting all drew them in. From my perspective as a teacher librarian, I loved that I could easily recommend this book as both suitable and enjoyable to our readers aged 12 - 15. On the evening of the event, we cou [...]
The students and teacher absolutely loved Louise Park. They were thrilled to hear about her secret identities, how she writes her books and giving the students to create their own Zac Power adventure was amazing!
Jacki and Aunty Rhonda had our Prep and Grade 1s engaged from the get go! They loved listening to stories, learning First Nation language, singing songs and dancing.
Our students were engaged in the entertaining pantomime and drawn in by the author's character portrayals in the book readings
Thank you for recommending Kyle for this year’s Literature Festival Day. It was a huge success and we have had wonderful feedback from students and teachers.
Our students enjoyed Sheryl's Author-in-Residence with us. She did a great job appealing to such a range of ages and I appreciate the preparation she put in ahead of time. Her sessions also inspired the older grades who have not yet read Secrets of Eromanga to continue and use the text in their lessons. The students have even done some follow up research about the Elliot dinosaur.
That was a wonderful presentation. The stage looked amazing and I was excited as soon as I walked in. The students really benefitted from your session. Thank you for making it engaging and fun for all the students across P-6. Even our tough students were engaged.
We had a wonderful visit with Kim. She is an enthusiastic, energetic and entertaining presenter. The students responded beautifully to Kim. They loved her stories, were entranced while she showed them how she painted on silk and enjoyed ‘The 12 Underwater Days of Christmas’. Our library spaces were so colourful and beautiful with all her paintings displayed. She was very friendly and easy to work with and I will certainly have her visit again in the future.
