Kim enthralled our cohort of Year 2s with a deeply engaging presentation that related closely to some of the curriculum foci they have been exploring. The Year 5 and 6 students who participated in the collaborative workshop were overjoyed at their results. Overall, Kim was an outstanding visitor to our school, with great skill, content, and ability to manage large groups of students effortlessly. Students and staff alike were very impressed!

Nicky was a huge hit with both students and staff during her recent 7-day residency at Berwick Primary School. Her sessions were engaging, entertaining and informative. Nicky was able to capture the attention of students from prep to grade 6 and was incredibly generous with her time between sessions, chatting with students and even joining in with lunchtime art groups. We highly recommend Nicky to any primary school considering engaging her services.

Speakers Ink Agency demonstrated excellent organisation and communication throughout the booking process. All arrangements were handled efficiently, with clear and timely information provided to support the visit.

Brett was very commanding, was able to give strong credentials and good examples of what students are facing. Some student input would have been useful, to keep the two-way loop going.

Joel McKerrow held a webinar with the year 7 cohort on Friday 17/10. Teachers were pleased with the presentation. Students were engaged and completed activities. Feedback from one of the teachers was: “I wanted to say how good the poet speaker was today. My class really enjoyed it. There was actually some pretty good poetry being written”. Cath’s presentation was fantastic. Cath has a wonderful way of captivating and inspiring her audience. (We) would definitely have Cath back again.

Students really enjoyed meeting Anil and making connections to her illustrations while learning more about her creative process. Her presentation was engaging and well paced, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of how an illustrator brings a story to life. The interactive elements encouraged thoughtful participation, and her work with small groups gave students valuable opportunities to ask questions, share ideas and feel supported in their own creative thinking.

Gwyneth Jane Page and daughter Megan were guest presenters at our annual literature Carnivale for 2017. The students thoroughly enjoyed their repertoire and the adventures of PJ Mouse. Both Gwyneth and Megan were able to maintain an interesting dialogue of narrative and illustration that kept the kids enthralled. Megan came to my school to run workshops during a Book Fair. She spent time with both gifted and talented students and students of mixed ability. She was organised, engaging and respectful during her presentations to students, and had them writing beautiful narratives. Megan was able to adjust her workshop according to the students’ interest and abilities in the class, and quickly gained a positive rapport with students. Trevor was fantastic, very easy to work with. Very Professional and also flexible. He was able to pivot and add to his speaking as the need/audience required. This was particularly good when working with young children who want to wriggle, so he also jumped up and gave them an opportunity to wriggle and dance! Was so good!!!

Prue is an exceptional speaker who connects with students and seeks to ensure that their questions are answered. She admirably prepares herself for her presentations. Prue's wisdom, care and compassion make her an excellent writer, and presenter.

Wow! What energy and enthusiasm. Martin is an extremely talented performer, illustrator and author. Engaging is an understatement, the library was literally filled with screams of delight. Lots of fun, laughter and pure joy. Martin has a very keen sense of humour that kids just love. Our students were in awe watching him draw during the session and are delighted that they can keep the drawings.
