He absolutely met expectations. Robert was wonderful!
This is the second year Michael has partnered with our Year 6 students to be authentic authors. From the moment he enters until the time he leaves, students are engaged, motivated, empowered and primed for success. His understanding of young adolescents and his ability to support each child to their potential is brilliant. His learning centres, particularly the Guru, allow students to be supported in a non-threatening environment whilst encouraging others to share their strengths. BRILLIANT!
Tim's presentation was entertaining and engaging. He had students from yrs 3, 4 5 and 6 in the palm of his hand and his books have been unavailable in our library ever since. His teaching background made his presentation very applicable to teaching story writing skills as well as creative ideas for story writing. Our teachers were especially impressed by the practical nature of Tim's presentation. Absolutely worth every penny.
Deb was a very engaging speaker and performer. The children really enjoyed the visit and have been madly borrowing her books. Deb pitched her talk to each year level and managed to have everyone laughing and learning at their level - including the teachers.
I asked for recommendations of presenters in my area and received a detailed and informative response that reflected how well Speakers Ink know their presenters.
Recently, at Wideview Public School, we had the pleasure of being part of Serena Geddes’ workshops on illustrating. We felt it was important to highlight the importance of illustrators/illustrations in the overall presentation of children’s literature. With that in mind, Serena began her workshop by showing the variety of illustrations she had already completed in a diverse collection of publications. She then proceeded to demonstrate the necessary steps in preparation of a finished [...]
Last week we had our Writer in Residence week and Scott visited us. What a wonderful person, writer and author he is! We had a wonderful time listening to his stories, talking to him and all the students who completed his workshops have the highest praise for him. We were so pleased with the success of it all and I have you to thank for all your help. In fact, we were all quite sad when Scott left as we got to know a little bit about the life of an author and he got to know a bit about the live [...]
The girls were so interested hearing Gabrielle speak. She was engaging, interesting, and we all thought she was so, so talented. Was a treat for us to have her.

I am writing to express my love for "The Little Stowaway" this book is such a lovely book it shows lots of feeling, thank you for writing this book. I think of it all the time and it is one of my go-to picture books.
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Zanni to our school to share her writing journey and books. Our students were fascinated and then the magical moment arrived… Zanni asked if they wanted her to read a book! Our students were so enthralled, they would have sat there all day listening. Thank you Zanni, you have changed their lives forever!
Roland Harvey was FANTASTIC! My favourite Author Visit so far!! Many thanks for organising this - the students and staff really enjoyed it.
A great practical workshop. The students enjoyed hearing from an experienced writer and the ideas he brought to the process.
