Annie came a long way to speak to a LOT of children. She was delightful, just like her books, and the children were engaged and responsive. Annie went to the trouble of bringing lots of her original illustrations and our students were fascinated to observe her serenely painting a watercolour illustration as she answered their questions.

It was really really good and I liked going through the photos. She took a really good photo and we all didn't know it was a fake! I enjoyed that she had a lot of description about how she made her three books come together. She told us about the prehistoric times and the characters. It was fun. Jo gave us tips for our writing and it was nice to know that new and different stuff.

Brian Falkner was fantastic. The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I have had quite a few parents tell me how much their children appreciated the day. A common statement was that the kids wouldn’t stop talking about it! Brian was very accommodating for his flying visit and I appreciate that. It is hard for us, when we live away from a city.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rory H. Mather, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. His insights and expertise into lyrical story writing and rhyme is amazing and the art of story and persistance is truly inspirational. Thanks for a truly fabulous CCLC in 2012. We were so thrilled with the response to your sessions and so grateful for all the energy and passion you devoted to each of the workshops you conducted.

Tim Harris delighted our upper primary students and their teachers with his creative writing workshops. Tim engaged the students with his hacks for narrative writing and the teachers could not have been happier with the content. Tim modified his workshop for each year level. His books are very much in demand in our library.

Thank you to Dr. Sarah for coming to our school and giving our children the opportunity to learn about wildlife and play an important role to safe animals. The activities also gave them a good chance to learn and speak English and cultivate children' their interest in reading. We hope Dr Sarah, you can visit next year again.

Paridhi visited our classroom last term to motivate the children's narrative writing. She demonstrated how she illustrates her story books, read one of her stories and completed some guided drawing with the students. The children were very engaged and interested in Paridhi presentation. I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed watching the Shark researchers’ discussion yesterday. I spent a lovely hour in the virtual company of amazing young women in science. Watching Charlotte facilitate the discussion and field the questions from the audience as well as answer from the heart was the highlight of my day. I’ll keep an eye on the web for more of her sessions.

Irena is a wonderful woman. At all times she was co-operative and willing to contribute her time and talent for the service of others. Her attitude and presentation were always first class. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Irena as an Artist-in Residence

I thoroughly enjoyed the way Phillip lifted the perceived ceiling on the ability of Year 7 and 8 students. They have risen to the challenge and succeeded. It is wonderful to see this group of students engage in the real world issues and show genuine empathy for others as well as having the knowledge of world issues.
